(I do apologise for this, for some reason my computer kept logging me everytime I went to do this)
October 12th:
In the morning I had all my cast for my 3 minute shoot that was to happen at 4 o'clock on October 13th, but at 10 o'clock that night one of my actors pulled-out due to work commitments which left me up sh*t creek without a paddle. After 2 hours of stressing, pulling my hair out and contacting everyone I knew with acting abilities or not, Lauren Howard said she would take the role, so a very big thank-you to her for that. I then had a full cast: Robyn Keynes is Buffy Summers, Johanna Coulson is Willow Rosenberg, Aiden Crawford is Xander Harris and Rupert Giles has had a sex-change and is played by Lauren Howard.
October 13th:
The shoot went very well, everyone was there on time if not early, so thank you to them. Lauren Howard had only had the script for an hour so she did well. I got all the coverage I felt I needed and the cast got on very well together, I went for a drink and a catch-up with Robyn and Aiden after the shoot as I went to school with both of them and I know that if I need actors for any other project they are more than willing to help-out. Robyn is part of the East 15 acting group and Aiden is musical theatre trained.
October 17th:
I filmed my establishing shot of a school and upload the footage onto the Mac I would spend the next two weeks infront of, once uploaded I realized that to pieces of footage were a bit fuzzy around the edges on a larger screen (they had looked perfectly fine on the small screen on the camera (curses)) but I could work with that.
October31st:
I have spent the past two weeks infront of a Mac editing my footage to create my 3 minute film of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and at around 3 o'clock I submitted my film to be marked, Simon has been encouraging me saying it is miles better than my trailer that I did in the first semester - I hope he is right.
