My Mum's enthusiastic

Got home last night and told my mum what we had been doing at uni - and started telling her about "Sound". Well, when my parents got back from the pub I was watching "Striking Distance" and in her slighty tipsy state my mum lent to me and said that the soundtrack was a score composed for the film! Brilliant - I love my mum.

Essay

My god - I hate writing essays, i can never get it quite right. But i have emailed my 1352 word essay to Simon so it is out of my hands! God it is going to be crappy! One good thing is i will now have something to work off of.

All done!

Finally April 6th as rolled around, and gone past. To my surprise I managed to hand everything in and it was on time too. It has taken me 20 years but I have done it. And the unit wasn't that bad either. I did have a little trouble with the soundtrack to my trailer as it did keep honking at us when I had finalised it - it was okay for about 24hrs and then Dan watched it and the computer didn't like that. But I got it sorted with a little help from my dear friend Johanna (who is now poorly- get well soon) so I owe you big-time! I made the necessary changes on my Pitch, Synopsis and Script so fingers-crossed it has all come together nicely.. now onto sound!

The Meeting

I think I'm nearly there. All I have to do is re-write the ending to my synopsis and then I think I'm done. But I do have that sinking feeling in my stomach that it won't be good enough, I've had too many let downs in the past to think that this is just going to be plain-sailing but what's done is done and there's no point in turning back now! If and when I pass this course I think I will employ someone to write any synopsis for me, it's just so difficult especially with my script when there's a really good twist that would intrigue people but can't be given away, otherwise I could wave good-bye to the scripts ending. My god I moan and waffle a lot, I'm going, bye!

The Meeting Trailer

O' MY GOD!!!!!!!! I think i have finally finished my trailer. Sat in front of a computer for 4 days has given me a severe headache. And why did i have to choose the computer that decided to pop whenever it wanted - my ears hurt as well as my head! But moaning aside i am pretty pleased with the outcome and just hope it is good enough. I do think we should make a little blooper reel of our trailers, i know that both mine and Jo's do have a few bloopers that were not trailer worthy but are worth a butchers!
