SAW

I've just managed to watch all 7 Saw films in 6 days. All I can say is - I wonder if Leigh Whannel new what was going to happen when he wrote Saw? Did he realise it would go on for 7 years and be a box office success?
I will miss Jigsaw though, he may be a vigilante but he was a vigilante with style!

FILMING

I did my filming on thursday. Why is it that when you want good weather it rains and when you want it to be overcast to get a decent image you get bright sunshine!? Curse the british weather!
Filming went well though, unfortunately I didn't lose Jane or Jo in the woods. Haha.

I started editing it as well - it looks good but i think music with it will make it a lot better.

Films

Speaking to Michael Ryan (a man who was part of Handmade) says that the Cannes Film Festival is a baptism of fire for film students, a good idea but 10 days in the middle of May is awkward.

Recently I have seen Australia - a fabulous film which like Return Of The King has many endings, but the last hour does fly-by with a lot happening all at once. Baz Luhrman definitely has put his mark on it. And Hugh Jackman is the only man I think I can stand looking a little filthy!!!!!!
